&lt;p&gt;Good articles on testing anti-patterns.  I wrote a &lt;a href="http://clintshank.javadevelopersjournal.com/testbreaks.htm" title="Test Breaks After Good Refactoring" rel="nofollow"&gt;blog entry&lt;/a&gt; awhile ago about a test smell that I encounter from time to time.  It's when you perform a correct refactoring and your tests break.&lt;/p&gt;
